Training a Jack Russell Terrier can be both fun and rewarding, and the breed are well known for being potentially easy to train.

We have trained our dogs to be obedient but still having freedom to do what they want. Training is effective, as long as the dogs are trained regularly and routinely. Through good training, the dogs have learned plenty of new tricks and commands, including sitting, lying, speaking and fetching.

Although training your Jack Russell may seem frustrating at first, it is well worth carrying through as it will greatly improve the bond between you and them.

Food is essential as it provides the perfect incentive for your dog to follow your commands. Only feed and praise your animal after they have done what you want them too, this will soon give you the results you want.
